Earl Spencer’s daughter Lady Kitty shares rare photo with billionaire husband

Lady Kitty Spencer looks to have had a wonderful summer, sharing a plethora of sun-drenched images with her 725,000 Instagram followers on Thursday.

The 35-year-old penned “Summer ’26” in the caption, and her carousel of snaps featured time with her adorable daughter, Athena, and a series of glamorous, exotic locations. In one picture, Kitty can be seen with her husband, Michael Lewis, whom she rarely shares pictures of online.

The happy couple looked in great spirits in the picture, which showed them cuddling up in front of a rustic building. Blonde Kitty, who is a model, looked resplendent in a chocolate brown ruffled dress, and Michael donned a suave outfit of chinos, a crisp white shirt, and loafers.

The mother of one met her husband in 2018 through mutual friends supporting charities championed by MP Liam Fox. The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati, Italy, in July 2021.

The stunning outfits were unforgettable. The bride was a vision in a Victorian-inspired Dolce & Gabbana wedding gown featuring white lace and puff shoulders. With long sleeves, puff shoulders, and a stunning full skirt, her main wedding dress had similarities to her mother Victoria Lockwood’s own gown worn in 1989.

Kitty’s dress featured a svelte, nipped-in silhouette and a full skirt. Many noted that she added a dramatic veil just like her royal aunt, the late Princess of Wales. Kitty is a brand ambassador for D&G and enjoys a continuing close relationship with the Italian fashion house.

The designers, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, spoke to Tatler about the making of the dress, remarking: “For the main dress, she wanted to keep a fairly traditional, clean-cut, but at the same time she desired to have a timeless allure.”

The couple went on to have a baby – their daughter, Athena. Kitty kept the birth of her child quiet until much later, announcing the news on Instagram. Earl Spencer’s daughter confirmed that she had become a mother in a post shared on social media in 2024. Alongside a heartwarming beach clip of her child, she penned: “It’s the joy of my life to be your mummy, little one. I love you unconditionally. Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate today.”
