The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh enjoyed a night at the theatre on Friday, and it ended up being a double date, as they were joined by Lady Louise Windsor and her boyfriend, Felix da Silva-Clamp.

The group all headed out to enjoy a production of Inala, which is being shown at the House of Sisters Grimm Theatre on the West End.

The production is a Zulu ballet, and a synopsis on its ā€˜About’ page reads: ā€œINALA was conceived and created to celebrate diversity and African culture. It is a critically acclaimed, Grammy nominated, sell out theatrical show with choreography by Mark Baldwin OBE and new music co-written by Joseph Shabalala, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Ella Spira.

ā€œINALA has attracted world class performers such as the South African legends Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Soweto Gospel Choir, current and former dancers of the Royal Ballet & Rambert.ā€

Meanwhile, Lady Louise looked lovely in a green blouse and a plaid skirt, while Felix dressed in a sharp suit for the occasion.

Lady Louise and Felix chatted with cast members

Speaking to HELLO!, Chiara from the Sisters Grimm team said: ā€œIt was incredibly special to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their children to INALA, 12 years after its world premiere here in Edinburgh.

ā€œOver the years we’ve been honoured to perform for the Prince and Princess of Wales at the Royal Variety Performance and for Prince Harry at Hampton Court Palace.ā€

She added: ā€œTo now share INALA with another generation of the Royal Family feels very special. We’re beginning to wonder who might come and see us next!ā€

The relationship between Lady Louise and Felix

Lady Louise and her beau are said to have met at the University of St Andrews. In 2024, the Daily Mail reported that Prince Edward’s daughter and her boyfriend ā€œstruck up a friendship when they were cast in the first student-written play to be performed at the Byre Theatre at St Andrewsā€.

Felix has been seen at Louise’s carriage driving competitions. Sara Howe, a carriage driving trainer who sees Louise out competing, exclusively told HELLO! that her ā€œladā€ is ā€œjust lovelyā€.

ā€œHe’s always been very supportive, but also leaves her alone to get on with the job,ā€ Sara shared. Although ā€œthey’ve got their own privacy,ā€ Sara noted that Louise and Felix ā€œcertainly aren’t put out on a pedestal and that nobody can go anywhere near them. They’re totally the opposite from thatā€.

Felix was recently seen cheering his girlfriend on as she competed in a carriage driving competition shortly after her graduation from St Andrews University. On this occasion, he kept a low profile with a pair of sunglasses and baseball cap.
