She’s “Never Been Kissed,” but she has been frisked.
Drew Barrymore revealed she and then-boyfriend Luke Wilson were once detained after being caught urinating in public at a Beck concert.
The former couple recalled the incident while reflecting on some of their favorite memories together on Tuesday’s episode of the “Drew Barrymore Show,” which originally aired on Jan. 16.
“I just thought of a memory that wasn’t funny at the time,” Barrymore, 49, kicked off the conversation.
The “Legally Blonde” actor, 53, seemingly knew exactly what Barrymore was talking about as he replied, “Beck.”
“I got stopped for public urination!” the “50 First Dates” actress confessed with a laugh. “And there I was like, peeking out of the bushes, like, ‘Hi!’”
Wilson further divulged that they were each “frisked” and even “detained” for a “little bit” before being released in time to see Beck perform.
“They gave us, like, a warning, but we got let go with a warning,” Barrymore noted with the “Old School” actor commenting that they still had a great time at the concert.
“We were like, ‘Alright, let’s go!’” Barrymore added.
Barrymore and Wilson, who have been close friends for the last two decades, dated from 1996 to 1998.
“He’s just the greatest guy, and we’ve known each other forever since we were such babies, and we dated at one point, but, like, the real story is we were good friends, and we’ve been good friends all this time,” Barrymore said of their friendship while introducing him to her audience during the episode.
Despite being together for two years and stepping on multiple red carpets together, the “E.T.” actress previously said that their relationship was never serious.
“When we first met, we were young and wild,” she said on a 2022 episode of her talk show. “I was dating him, but I think he was also dating other people.”
“We’re just young, we’re having fun, we’re all playing, acting, hanging out. You’re not taking it all so seriously, and it was fun, and we had the best time.”
After Wilson, Barrymore went on to date Justin Long and Zach Braff before marrying Will Kopelman in 2012. The two welcomed daughters, Olive, 12, and Frankie, 10, before divorcing in 2016.
Meanwhile, Wilson has never tied the knot, but he’s been romantically linked to model Kendall Yates since 2023.
