Ice, ice, Drizzy.
Drake unveiled a diamond-covered one-of-one Rolex Daytona watch on Instagram Saturday, calling it âthe most important thing I have ever had the pleasure of owning.â
The rapper, 39, had the piece custom-made to mark âthe record breaking milestones of 2026,â he wrote, alluding to the trilogy of albums he released on May 15, including the hit âIceman.â
The Ice Gradient Daytona, as the timepiece officially called, pairs a fully pavé dial with a sapphire bezel and lugs. The bracelet is set with baguette-cut gemstones, deepening from frosty diamonds into blue sapphires as it wraps around the wrist.
Turn it over and âFreeze the Worldâ â a line from the âIcemanâ track âMake Them Knowâ â is spelled out in blue lettering across the caseback.
That album arrived alongside âHabibtiâ and âMaid of Honour,â making Drake the first artist to hold the Billboard 200âs top three spots simultaneously. âIcemanâ is also the longest-running No. 1 of the year so far.
Rolex sent the watch over in a custom case with a matching blue lid, which Drake photographed alongside a folder open to the pieceâs specs.
âPlease do not get your local jeweler to recreate,â the Toronto native warned potential copycats. âThis is a stand alone and a part of history.â
Watch experts online have estimated the timepiece could be worth as much as $5 million. It âmust be the most expensive retail factory Rolex any of us have ever seen,â collector Mike Nouveau said in a video breakdown.
For scale, the off-catalog Rolex Sea-Dweller Tom Brady wore to Kevin Hartâs Netflix roast in May â which also featured an iced-out baguette-cut diamond bracelet â racked up similar seven-figure estimates among enthusiasts.
Many have also pointed out that Rolex very rarely makes a âpiĂšce uniqueâ for a client anymore â though Drake has shown his loyalty to the Swiss brand over the years.
On his 2024 track âItâs Up,â the rapper boasted about âa hundred and forty-three Rolexes in my collection.â
At least one has already appreciated accordingly: the gold GMT-Master II he wore on the cover of 2011âs âTake Care,â engraved with an OVO owl, sold earlier this year for $500,000.
