Drake is teasing his next project — whether or not his fans are ready for it.

The “God’s Plan” rapper, who canceled the final dates of his Anita Max Win tour, shared an Instagram post on Monday, March 10, telling fans about his “next chapter.” In the cryptic caption, Drake, 38, said that it may leave fans “feeling uneasy.”

“U know I grew up non confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold, but my these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore,” he wrote.

“I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you’ve been sending me. 😮‍💨.”

In the Instagram post were images of Drake in a restaurant along with some selfies, a screengrab of Daniel Day-Lewis from the movie The Phantom Thread and a picture of a room lit by blue lights.

Drake’s post also included a video of him in a white fur coat swatting away falling confetti along with a picture of two Zofran pills, which is a “medication that prevents nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiation or surgery,” per the Cleveland Clinic.

Drake’s enigmatic announcement comes over a month since Kendrick Lamar performed his Grammy-winning diss track “Not Like Us” aimed at Drake during the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, bringing their rap to a national stage like no other.

Lamar’s Feb. 9 performance was packed with Easter eggs about Drake, including an “a minor” necklace and Drake’s ex Serena Williams making a surprise appearance, dancing the crip walk.

Drake teasing his next era also comes weeks after it was announced that his Anita Max Win tour dates in New Zealand and Australia were being postponed due to “scheduling conflicts.”

“We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows,” the statement from Feb. 26 read.

“All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale.”
