Dolly Parton’s sister Stella Parton hasn’t heard from any of her fellow country singers in the two weeks since her sibling’s death.
“I haven’t had one condolence from anyone — anybody that I know, entertainers that I know,” the 77-year-old said during a “CBS Mornings” interview, which aired in full Thursday. “Nobody. Not one.”
The Nashville-based musician doubled down, insisting she hasn’t “heard from anybody in” the area since Dolly’s passing at 80 on Aug. 25.
“I’m assuming it might be because of my political, you know, activism on social media,” Stella speculated. “I don’t know.”
