Dolly Parton is seeing red — and hopes you will, too!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the legendary country singer, 79, announced her Dolly Wines brand was expanding by adding Pinot noir into the mix.

“For many years I have not liked the color red, because it reminds me of that woman who tried to take my husband,” the Grammy winner admitted in a video shared to her official Facebook account.

“Remember, ‘Jolene, Jolene, Jolene?’ ” Parton asked. “But my new Pinot noir has changed all that! I love red now. You should try it!”

Decked out in blue wrapping and butterfly designs, the bottle made an appearance in the social media post.

Her new wine is making its debut the same month that the Jolene album was released in 1974. The song itself is celebrating its 52nd anniversary later this year, as it was released as a single in October 1973.

In the song, Parton sang of the stunning red-head who threatened her relationship: “Your beauty is beyond compare / With flaming locks of auburn hair.”

In another announcement video shared to Instagram, the “9 to 5” singer asked her followers to “stop scrolling for a minute” and have a toast to her new “shooting star,” Pinot noir!

“We are incredibly proud to bring Dolly Wines’ Pinot Noir to the market,” Ming Alterman, marketing director of Accolade Wines, Americas, said in a statement.

“This release is a true testament to the exceptional quality and passion of our winemaking team, working in close partnership with Parton Family Cellars. With its vibrant character and exceptional craftsmanship, this Pinot Noir perfectly embodies the spirit of Dolly’s vision – a wine meant to be shared with those you love, celebrating life’s moments, both large and small,” Alterman added.

Parton’s Pinot noir joins Dolly Wines’ already impressive selection of chardonnay, rosé and prosecco.

The newest blend is described as “a silky and fresh Pinot, with red fruit characters and a hint of vanilla,” making it “perfect for a traditional turkey holiday meal or a cheese plate shared amongst friends.”

Dolly Wines Pinot noir can now be found at leading retailers such as Kroger, Total Wine & More, Publix and Cost Plus World Market, among others, in-store and online. The suggested retail price of $14.99 allows the product to be accessible to her devoted fans.
