Doja Cat brought jaw-dropping style to the stage at the 2025 Oscars.

The rapper, 29, performed Shirley Bassey’s “Diamonds Are Forever” during the James Bond tribute at this year’s Academy Awards Oscars in a nearly nude dress covered in crystals.

The stunning strapless custom dress was designed for her by Brett Alan Nelson, her long-time creative director. It featured more than one million Swarovski crystals appearing to float around her body. The look was topped off with Swarovski Matrix Y necklace, Matrix tennis necklace, Millenia tennis bracelet, Matrix choker and matching Matrix ear cuffs.

The musician sang the song from the 1971 film of the same name following Lisa’s performance of “Live and Let Die” and before RAYE’s rendition of “Skyfall.”

Along with the draping stones that covered her dress, Doja Cat also wore a layers of diamond necklaces that wrapped twice around her neck before dipping low on her décolletage to add even more shine to her performance.

A nude slip sat below the glittery dress and had its own diamante embellishments as well.

Her shimmering onstage look was her second of the night. Doja Cat walked the carpet in a look that evoked her namesake, an animal-print Balmain gown covered in sparkles. The plunging dress was based on a 1950s design by the house that was recreated just for her, and she paired it with a matching scarf around her neck, a statement necklace and sparkly earrings.

She said during the preshow that she felt “great” in the look and was so “excited” for her performance during the show.

A near-nude look is nothing new for the “Paint the Town Red” singer. At the 2024 Met Gala, she wore a sheer white dress that hung loose on her and appeared to be soaking wet, and the year before, she wore her most naked look yet to the 2023 MTV VMAs: a Monse dress made of cobweb-like fabric that exposed her nipples and cheeky nude thong.
