Doechii may be having the best week ever. She won best rap album for Alligator Bites Never Heal at the 2025 Grammys Feb. 2 (becoming only the third woman to win the award) and was named to the Met Gala hosting committee this week. But it wasn’t that long ago she was posting about losing her job and looking for something new to do. A 2020 video of the rapper discussing how she’d just been fired and didn’t have a plan, but thought she might go around to record labels to see if any needed an intern, has resurfaced and gone viral to show just how far she’s come in a few short years.
