Taylor Swift appeared to give a fun nod to her football star boyfriend Travis Kelce onstage.

During her Eras Tour concert at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Friday, Oct. 25, Swift, 34, took a page out of Kelce’s play book — and fans are convinced the move was a subtle tribute to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35.

When performing the outro to “Midnight Rain,” Swift mimed throwing a football as she sang the lines: “And he never thinks of me / Except when I’m on TV.” One fan-captured video on X (formerly Twitter) showed the moment, and Swifties were excited to see the move, seemingly referring to her football-throwing boyfriend.

“TRAVIS CATCH THE BALL,” one person commented. “@newheightshow @JasonKelce is this proper football form?” a second fan asked, referring to Travis’ podcast New Heights, which he hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles alum Jason Kelce.

“Shes just tayvoodooing for the Chiefs in February,” another joked, alluding to the 2025 Super Bowl taking place at the Caesars Superdome — and the Chiefs’ past two years winning the coveted title.

“She just cemented a chiefs super bowl win with this tayvoodoo,” someone else agreed.

“A few months later when the chiefs win the super bowl we are going to look back to this video and say ‘this is when i knew the chiefs had it,’ ” a third person added.

Swift has previously incorporated Travis into her Eras Tours shows. Sometimes she does an archer pose during “Midnight Rain,” pretending to shoot with a bow and arrow. The move is considered a tribute to Travis, who also strikes the pose during touchdown celebrations.

The 14-time Grammy winner also famously changes the words to “Karma” during her concerts, singing, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” when the tight end is in the audience.

Swift embarked on her record-breaking Eras Tour in March 2023, and has since performed on five different continents and made stops in dozens of cities. The tour wraps up in December.

The remaining concerts after the Oct. 25-27 weekend in New Orleans will take place in Indianapolis at the Lucas Oil Stadium, the Rogers Centre in Toronto and Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium.
