Demi Moore is synonymous with her long, luscious raven locks. Yet, even the actress herself isnāt opposed to switching up her roots when a high-fashion event calls for it.
The 63-year-old graced the Thom Browne spring/summer 2027 show during New York Fashion Week ā and she debuted her shortest hairstyle in almost six months. Demiās dark locks were cut into a chin-grazing coif bob. The front pieces were tucked elegantly behind her ears with a slightly off-centre parting.Ā
Demiās new look was paired with a stylish ensemble that consisted of a black cropped bomber jacket layered over a pleated tailored dress. The garment was styled with a crisp white collared shirt and matching tie for a preppy finish. Demi accessorized with a pair of aviator classes, drop earrings, and a leather handbag. Her makeup was left natural and radiant, courtesy of a rosy cheek and a glossy lip.

The star has previously opened up about the secrets behind her glossy mane. And it also kind of coincided with stepping back from work to be with my kids,ā admitted Demi.
āI think probably because Iām also lazy and I donāt like to sit in the chair or have to go and get it done a lot.ā Demi went on to explain that she never allowed her age to influence her decision to grow out her hair. ā[We often hear] that as women get older, they shouldnāt have long hair. And for some reason, I didnāt buy it. I didnāt believe it, and it didnāt make sense to me why that had to be the case,ā she shared.Ā
āI did notice, particularly women who were going through menopause, that they wereā¦all were kind of cutting their hair in a very almost masculine way, just desexualizing themselves. And so I think there was a combination of this attachment to it, too. Sometimes I think Iāve just willed it.ā
Demi told People that her long hair gives her confidence. ā[Long hair] feels most like me. Being able to change my look with wigs and pieces feeds my need for change but at the end of the day I love taking it down seeing my hair fall past my waist. Itās like coming home,ā she shared.
