Along with photos of the couple in front of the tree, Lovato (who uses she/they pronouns) shared a number of pictures and videos on her Instagram Story from their Christmas Eve celebration, which included decorating cookies.
One cookie was frosted to look like one of the couple’s dogs, Pickle. “Not the pickle cookie!!!” she wrote on a video of Jutes frosting the cookies.
Earlier this month on Dec. 16, the couple, who first met while collaborating on a song in early 2022, celebrated the one-year anniversary of their engagement.
To mark the occasion, Jutes shared an Instagram Story from the couple’s engagement which featured a photo of the two leaning in for a kiss. Alongside the photo, Jutes wrote, “1 year of being engaged to my favorite person. I’m so lucky and can’t wait to marry u baby 😘.”
Lovato shared the picture on her own Instagram Stories, and called the songwriter “my sweet angel.”
“I love you infinitely and cannot wait to call you my husband!!!” she continued. “Happy 1 year of being engaged baby!!”
Prior to their engagement, which was shared exclusively with PEOPLE at the time, Jutes went public with his relationship with Lovato in August 2022.
The summer before their engagement, Lovato opened up to SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up about the couple’s love story, saying they were “friends first and foremost.”
