Dayle Haddon appeared in Vogue alongside Blake Lively this fall, in what ultimately became her final major modeling moment.

Four months before the actress and former supermodel’s sudden death from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at age 76, she starred in “The Heist of the Heart,” a cinematic photoshoot for the magazine’s September 2024 issue.

Directed by Baz Luhrmann and inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s To Catch a Thief, the photo shoot starred the Gossip Girl alum, 37, as “The Cat,” while her friend Hugh Jackman appeared as her costar L’Ombre.

Haddon, meanwhile, appeared alongside Lively in just one shot, which was set in a casino.

Haddon shared the shot, which saw her gambling at a table and appearing to exchange chips with Lively, on Instagram in August, alongside some behind-the-scenes footage and a sweet message highlighting her collaborators.

The late star began the message by saying that she had a “wonderful time” working on the glamorous Vogue shoot. She then lauded the “brilliant” Luhrmann, writing, “A genius director and photographer, Baz, enthusiastic, creative, inclusive was so much darn fun to work with!!”

Haddon also had a great time working with Lively. She said that she “loved working beside” the movie star and described her as “absolutely delightful, funny and mischievous.”

She also shared a sweet exchange she had with the It Ends with Us actress behind the scenes of Luhrmann’s shoot.

“Not only is Blake beautiful, inside and out,” Haddon wrote, “she is generous to a fault, fixing my dress during takes, adjusting my fabulous @cartier jewels..making sure I was ‘shining’ during the shoot!”

The late star’s thank-you’s continued, with her expressing gratitude to other collaborators, like stylist Tonne Goodman, who recruited her for the shoot, as well as Jackman, 56, who she called “elegant and witty.”

Haddon also said that throughout the Hitchcock-inspired shoot, the Marvel star stepped into his most iconic character, Wolverine, to “endlessly” play with “one of Blake’s adorable girls.”

Haddon died at her son-in-law Marc Blucas’ home in Bucks County, Penn. on Friday, Dec. 27.

Solebury Township Police arrived at the home at around 6:30 a.m. local time, after receiving a 911 call, a representative for the department told PEOPLE.

Authorities found a 76-year-old man — who police later confirmed to PEOPLE was Walter Blucas — passed out on the first floor of the home, according to a police report. He was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., where he is receiving treatment.

A woman — who the deputy coroner of Bucks County later confirmed to USA Today was Haddon — was discovered dead in a second-floor bedroom. A toxicology report is being conducted to determine her official cause of death, the coroner said.

“The investigation indicates a faulty flue and exhaust pipe on a gas heating system caused the carbon monoxide leak,” authorities said in an update.
