David Hasselhoff and ex-wife Pamela Bach’s former nanny, “Dateline” star Andrea Canning, claimed the late actress “struggled” with health and “money issues” prior to her death by suicide earlier this week.

“The last time I saw her, she was walking with a cane. She wasn’t the Pamela I knew,” Canning told People in an interview published Saturday.

“She was just having difficulty getting around. It took a toll on her, that accident,” she continued, referring to the 2003 motorcycle crash that Bach, 62, and Hasselhoff, 72, were involved in.

Bach’s former rep Terry Ahern previously told the outlet the incident left her “in the hospital with a broken neck and back.” She was later diagnosed with arthritis.

Canning, who first met Bach as an intern on “Baywatch,” went on to share that the actress’ finances were also a topic of “concern” for her.

“There were times where she’s like, ‘I’m going to be homeless. I’ve got to get out of this house,’ which never happened. She would say it was going to happen, and then it didn’t,” Canning said, noting that “money issues” were a regular discussion for the two.

“And I don’t know how she ended up staying there. I don’t know how she kept her bills paid, because she was always saying that, ‘What am I going to do?’”

But despite Bach’s “troubles,” Canning told the outlet that Bach “also had a really positive outlook on life as well.”

“It’s funny — the longer I got to know her, the nicer she became,” she added. “It was like every year that went by, she just got kinder and kinder. I don’t know what changed, I don’t know.”

Reps for Bach did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

As we previously reported, Bach was discovered dead inside her $2 million Hollywood Hills home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on Thursday. Authorities did not find a suicide note at the scene.

Hasselhoff, who was married to Bach from 1989 to 2006, confirmed the star’s death with a message on Facebook.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time,” David wrote via Facebook on Thursday.

They shared daughters Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32.
