David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham are always rooting for their son Romeo, even if that means ribbing him a bit.

Romeo, 22, made a surprise runway appearance during Milan Fashion Week for the Versace autumn/winter 2025 show on Friday, Feb. 28.

To celebrate the accomplishment, the English former soccer player, 49, posted a sweet tribute to social media.

“Proud of you mate,” David wrote over a photo of his second-born child. He also tagged Donatella Versace, the luxury fashion house and Victoria, 50, in the Instagram Stories post.

But he wasn’t done there — the doting dad added a special song for the occasion: Bruno Mars’ 2016 hit, “Versace on the Floor.”

The former Spice Girl reposted her husband’s Instagram Story, astutely adding a message of her own.

“U have to turn on the sound for this one!!!!” she wrote at the bottom of the photo.

Victoria seemed to be pointing out that the song, which pays homage to Versace, likely has a different meaning than what David intended to express for his son.

“So, baby, let’s just turn down the lights and close the door / Ooh, I love that dress, but you won’t need it anymore / No, you won’t need it no more / Let’s just kiss ’til we’re naked, baby / Versace on the floor /Ooh, take it off for me, for me, for me, for me now, girl,” Mars sings in the song, which featured Zendaya as the female lead in its music video.

The “Wannabe” singer then shared another post to her Stories, once again showing Romeo walking, but adding “Proud of you!”

David and Victoria share four children together: sons Brooklyn Joseph, 25; Romeo James; Cruz David, 20; and daughter Harper Seven, 13.

Romeo got another special social media tribute from both parents when he celebrated his birthday in September 2024.

“Happy 22nd Birthday to my beautiful boy,” the pro athlete captioned a photo of Romeo as a child. “We are so proud of the man you have turned into, kind , passionate and hard working… Have the most amazing day because you deserve it… Love you mate so much 🩷.”

Victoria shared her appreciation via her Instagram Stories with a series of photos, writing, “We love you so much,” adding a white heart emoji.

Like his parents, Romeo has also entered the world of fashion and sports.

At just 10 years old, Romeo made his modeling debut in a 2013 Burberry Kids campaign, which also featured Cara Delevingne, after he was named the face of the brand’s children’s line. Romeo later enrolled at the Arsenal Football Club Academy when he was 13.
