Dallas star Victoria Principal, 76, has barely aged a day in new photo

Victoria Principal started her acting career alongside some seriously star talent, taking to the screen in 1972 feature The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean opposite the likes of Ava Gardner and Paul Newman. 

Other early projects included Love, American Style (1973), Love Story (1973) and Earthquake (1974). But it was later on in the ’70s that she reached mainstream fame as one of the stars of Dallas. 

Between 1978 and 1991, Victoria Principal appeared on 252 episodes of soap opera Dallas, the tale of the Ewing family’s oil empire, headed by Jock and his three sons, J.R., Bobby and Garry.

 Victoria was cast as Pam Ewing, Bobby’s first wife, who ended her run after a severe on-screen car crash and oil tank explosion. The role was briefly recast and Pam Ewing was played by Margaret Michaels, with it later being revealed the character had passed from pancreatic cancer which she hid from most of the Ewing family.

After her star run on Dallas, Victoria continued to act on several television projects, including series like The Burden of Proof (1992), Home Improvement (1994) and most recently appeared in soap opera Titans (2000-2001) throughout its 14-episode run.

She also starred in several TV movies like Mistress (1987), Blind Witness (1989) and Love in Another Town (1997).

In a candid post on her Instagram, Victoria proved her timeless beauty in a fresh-faced still, captioning the post, “Good hair day but it won’t look like this after a day at the ranch!😂”

Fans were quick to point out that the Dallas star hadn’t aged a day, with one commenter saying “She’s still gorgeous! Even after 40 years since she was on Dallas” and another writing “Still getting more beautiful!”

Decades after leaving fame behind, Victoria is enjoying a quieter life away from the spotlight. She now lives on a ranch outside of Los Angeles, focussing her efforts on animal rescue and rehabilitation, as well as more general philanthropy.

The former actress is a staunch supporter of environmental causes and children’s charities. She has also found success in the entrepreneurial world, launching her own skincare line Principal Secret in 1991. She stepped down from the business in May 2019 after 28 years.
