It’s been nearly three weeks since Brooklyn Beckham’s bombshell social media post, and the Beckham brood seem to have tattoos on their minds. Brooklyn, 26, appeared to have recently had a tribute for his dad, David Beckham removed amid the ongoing fallout with his family as he claimed his parents tried to “ruin” his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. Now, his younger brother Cruz, 20, has revealed his own new ink tribute to a loved one.

The budding musician and his girlfriend, singer-songwriter Jackie Apostel, 30, took date night to a whole new level as they got tattoos done together in Soho. Luxury studio Fine Line Hearts Club, whose A-list clients include Cruz’s brother Romeo, recorded the couple’s visit with intimate photos and footage posted to their social media account. The couple got their body art done by tattoo artist Jesus, who has done multiple tattoos for Romeo.

Cruz lay shirtless on the table to get a single letter ‘J’ – seemingly a tribute to his girlfriend – tattooed under his arm. The candid black and white video revealed the latest sweet addition to his growing ink collection, which includes a ship with sails wrapped around his side. Meanwhile, Jackie got the word ‘providence’ scrawled on her side in cursive as Cruz sat by her side.

“Fun times with @cruzbeckham + @jackie.apostel [red heart emoji]” the tattoo artists captioned the pics of Jackie and Cruz with their new ink, which the youngest Beckham brother shared to his Instagram Stories on his public account. The couple got their body art done by artist Jesus, who has previously done multiple tattoos for Romeo.

Romeo’s new tattoo

Shortly after his younger brother debuted new ink, Romeo revealed he, too, got a tattoo with a seemingly telling message. Romeo’s tattoo artist, Jesus, shared a photo of the word ‘family’ written in cursive on the back of the 23-year-old’s neck. The tattoo comes amid the public fallout with his older brother, Brooklyn, who claimed in his explosive social media statement that both his younger brothers had blocked him on social media last summer.

“Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders,” Brooklyn alleged in his post.

“Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer.”

Neither Romeo nor Cruz has explicitly addressed their brother’s post in public.

Brooklyn’s tattoo removal

Cruz revealed his new ink just days after Brooklyn seemingly got a tattoo tribute to their dad removed. Brooklyn used to have the word ‘DAD’ within an anchor design inked on his upper right arm. As part of the sweet tribute, he also had the words ‘Love you Bust’ sketched beneath the design, which was a reference to his dad’s nickname for him.

But according to The Sun, Brooklyn has since covered up the word ‘DAD’ on the anchor, as seen on his arm during a recent outing with his wife Nicola Peltz in Los Angeles, where the couple reside. It seems the change may have been a recent one as the tattoo still looked intact in Brooklyn’s Instagram post on 28 January from his trip to Napa with Nicola.

Meanwhile, David’s ‘Buster’ neck tattoo, which he got done in 2015, looked unchanged on his trip to Doha during the week.

And it seems the eldest of the Beckham clan, who has extensive body art, has since made more changes to his tattoo tributes after declaring he “does not want to reconcile” with his family. The Sun shared photos of Brooklyn from a recent night out as he appears to have covered the names of his siblings, Cruz, Romeo, and Harper, which were previously etched on the fingers of his left hand, with a new cloudy design.

Brooklyn’s tattoo updates come after he shared a six-page statement taking aim at his family after year-long reports of a falling out. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” Brooklyn wrote to social media.

The Beckham brothers’ ink tributes

David’s sons have all followed in his footsteps to become tattoo fans. Along with their brother, Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo have both had ink done in honour of their dad over the years.

In February 2024, Cruz revealed he got the number seven – his dad’s football jersey number and his sister Harper’s middle name – in roman numerals on his wrist. In December 2025, Romeo’s tattoo artist, Jesus, revealed on Instagram that he had completed a cloud sleeve design on the Beckham brother to match one David had.
