Cruz Beckham opened up about his grandfather, Tony Adams, after he starred in the budding musician’s new music video, For Your Love, his latest track with his new band, Cruz Beckham and the Breakers.
Appearing on Virgin Radio UK’s Chris Evans breakfast show on Friday, Cruz said: “He’s an amazing, amazing human. He was in a band when he was younger, and we just relate so much on music.
“I just love talking to him about music and playing songs. Once I found out that he was part of a band, I got a lot more into it and then found out about The Beatles because of him.”
Shooting the video was a full family affair as Cruz’s cousin, Libby Adams, who works in production, was also heavily involved in its creation.
“Grateful to have been part of this project. With Papa Tony being the star of the show.”
Reconciliation
The release of Cruz’s new track came just days after a source told HELLO! the youngest Beckham brother wants reconciliation with his elder brother, Brooklyn, who, among a series of claims in a bombshell statement last month, said he “doesn’t want reconciliation” with his family.
Cruz hinted this was the case just hours earlier, sharing a series of throwback photographs on Instagram featuring his elder brother when they were children.
The first was the featured image and showed Brooklyn, as a child, with his arms around his then-tiny brothers, Cruz and Romeo, now 23.
The second saw the brother trio, along with their younger sister Harper, 14, wearing beekeeping suits, likely taken on their Cotswolds family estate, where their dad, David Beckham, keeps bees.
Cruz didn’t caption the photos, but that didn’t stop his mother, Victoria Beckham, from weighing in, simply adding four red love heart emojis in the comments section.
Brooklyn declined to comment on the revelation when asked by HELLO!. Among the claims in his shock statement in January were allegations that his parents tried to force his hand in singing over to his name, to the former Spice Girl interrupting his first dance, all in the name of protecting “brand Beckham.”
