Cristiano Ronaldo Shares Rare Photo of Daughter Bella 2 Years After Loss of Her Twin

Cristiano Ronaldo has shared a sweet bonding moment with his littlest love following a tragic loss.

The soccer star posted a rare pic of himself cuddling his and girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez‘s youngest daughter Bella Esmeralda, more than two years after the toddler’s twin brother, Ángel, died shortly after birth.

In the photo, Bella sits on their dad’s lap beside a table while holding a small toy that appears to be Stitch from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch.

Ronaldo captioned the Dec. 17 Instagram photo, “Bom dia,” which means “good morning” in his native Portuguese.

The 39-year-old—who also shares daughter Alana, 7, with Rodríguez and is additionally father to son Cristiano Jr., 14, and twins Mateo and Eva, 7—tends to keeps his personal life private and last gave a family update in July, when he posted a photo of himself with Rodriguez and their children on a boat. He captioned the Instagram post, “My life,” with a red heart emoji.
