Netflix’s new teen drama, Crew Girl, has captivated audiences after debuting on the streaming platform earlier this month. The sports drama centres on teenage rower Teagan Tao, who relocates to a small town following a family scandal and joins the all-boys crew team at an elite prep school.
The series boasts a cast of fresh talent including Miku Martineau, Kyle Clark and Samuel Braun. Among the familiar faces in the cast is Canadian actress Jessica Paré – and she looks worlds away from her iconic Mad Men role.

Back in 2024, John shared a gushing tribute to his partner to mark the release of a SEAL Team episode she directed.

Jessica and John welcomed their first child, a son named Blues Anthony Paré Kastner, in March 2015.
At the time, John posted the happy news on Instagram alongside a heartwarming photo of his daughter Summer – whom he welcomed in 2007 during his marriage to actress Nicole de Boer – holding her newborn brother. In the caption, he wrote: “Please meet Blues Anthony Paré Kastner…”
