Ciara’s Goodies 20th Anniversary Vinyl Features Accidental Windows Sound Effect, According to Fans

Ciara’s Goodies album turned 20, and its latest reissue may leave fans checking for a pop-up.

According to TikToks circulating online, the new vinyl released in honor of the album’s 20th anniversary in September features a Windows sound effect during the hit “1, 2 Step” featuring Missy Elliott.

“My jaw dropped.. i thought it was my laptop,” one fan wrote of the out-of-place sound, “and then i remembered i dont have a laptop in my room.”

Another video featured someone demonstrating the needle hitting the bright pink record to make the same sound effect reminiscent of receiving a notification. “Ciara babes what is this???? How did this make it past quality control? 🙀,” they wrote.

“Before you come for me and my Bluetooth speaker, yes I know the quality is poorer via Bluetooth,” added the listener. “I do not have any space for wired speakers.”

“I need the limewire exclusive rare windows notification ciara goodies vinyl like this is TRUE y2k,” someone else joked of the apparent sound effects.

A rep for Sony Music declined to comment when reached by PEOPLE.

Ciara, 39, released Goodies on Sept. 27, 2004. The 20th-anniversary edition of the album features 12 of its 13 original tracks along with bonus songs “Crazy,” “Represent Me” and “Goodies (Dipha Barus Remix).” [“Next to You” featuring R. Kelly has been omitted from the new version.]

The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 list when it was released. It also earned Ciara two Grammy nominations for best new artist and best rap/sung collaboration for “1, 2 Step” — one of her husband Russell Wilson’s favorite songs.

To celebrate the album’s 20th birthday, Ciara recreated the iconic album cover in June with herself in a pink sweatshirt. “20 Years later. Still CiCi. Happy 20th Anniversary Goodies!🩷🩷🩷,” she captioned the pictures on Instagram.

She also celebrated the album during Missy Elliott’s Out of This World Tour stop at State Farm Arena in Atlanta in July.

“I will forever cherish moments like this! 20th Anniversary of Goodies Album celebration right here, on stage, in my hometown of Atlanta!” she wrote on social media. “Grateful for each person that’s helped me along the way.”
