Ciara reveals surprise baby news months after Russell Wilson’s very public plea for ‘Cinco’

Ciara has revealed she is pregnant with her fifth child, sharing the joyful news in a sweet family announcement alongside husband Russell Wilson.

The 40-year-old singer unveiled her growing baby bump on Instagram on Saturday, confirming that she and the NFL star are preparing to expand their family once again.

“One more person to Love,” Ciara simply captioned the post, which featured an adorable nod to the four children the couple are already raising together.

The announcement comes just months after Russell, 37, publicly revealed that he was hoping to convince his wife to welcome one more baby, even giving their potential fifth child the nickname “Cinco.”

Ciara reveals growing baby bump

Ciara’s announcement began with a video panning across a row of white shirts hanging from a clothesline in the sunshine, each representing a member of the family’s next generation.

The singer then appeared carrying a tiny white onesie, which she hung at the end of the line before turning towards the camera and flashing a huge smile.

Dressed casually in a white tank top and low-rise jeans, with her hair set in rollers, Ciara proudly showed off her growing bump before holding up five fingers to signal baby number five.

Another photograph showed the expectant mom standing beside shirts bearing the names of her four children, while the baby’s onesie was deliberately left blank.

Russell also joined in the celebrations, filming himself walking past the clothesline before reaching his wife, with the pair cuddling up for a sweet selfie video.

Ciara and Russell Wilson’s growing family

Ciara and Russell are already parents to daughter Sienna, nine, son Win, six, and two-year-old daughter Amora. Ciara is also mom to 12-year-old son Future Zahir from her previous relationship with rapper Future.

The couple, who tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England, in July 2016, have frequently spoken about the importance of family.

The news may come as less of a surprise to fans who have been following Russell’s campaign for another addition to the family.

Speaking to E! News in July, the football star made no secret of his hopes for baby number five.

“We have four amazing kids and I’m trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth,” he said. “Cinco, you got to be on the way soon.”

Russell even suggested his wife was open to the idea, adding: “I want to have five, Ciara does too. We’ll see. Hopefully, I can convince her.”
