Christina Aguilera is a true pop star and she’s got the wardrobe to show for it.

The Grammy winner made an appearance at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for H&M’s renovated flagship store in Times Square in New York City on Nov. 21. The event followed Charli xcx’s Nov. 18 concert hosted by the brand.

Aguilera, 43, dazzled the crowd with her festive style.

Proving that the no-pants trend is always in, she wore a pair of high-waisted leather grommet gold shorts, currently retailing for $169 online and in select stores as a part of H&M’s Studio Holiday capsule.

She teamed her metallic bottoms with tights, a black shirt and thigh-high boots, and topped off her look with a nearly floor-hitting velvet coat.

Aguilera was joined by her 10-year-old daughter, Summer Rain, whom she shares with fiancé Matt Rutler. Her kid was just as fashionable in a graphic sweatshirt, baggy jeans and sneakers.

Aguilera’s visit to the East Coast comes days after she took the stage during Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet show in Los Angeles on Nov. 15. Together, the singers performed Aguilera’s hits “What a Girl Wants” and “Ain’t No Other Man” to a roaring audience excited to see the duo reunite after they collaborated for the 25th anniversary of Aguilera’s debut album in September.

In an Instagram post shared Nov. 16, Carpenter reacted to the onstage moment with Aguilera, writing, “LA night 1💋 thank you @xtina for coming out last night, giving everyone (me included) the surprise of our lives, and for being one of the main reasons i love + wanted to make pop music, i adore you to no end!!!!!!”

While she’s been booked and busy, Aguilera has also had the chance to spend quality time with her family. On Nov. 18, she shared a series of vacation photos with Summer, her son Max, 16, and Rutler, 39. The carousel gave fans a rare, but sweet, glimpse into the singer’s family life.
