Christina Aguilera is leaving nothing behind as she turns another year older.
On Wednesday, Dec. 18, the singer posted a nearly nude black and white photo of herself on Instagram to mark her 44th birthday.
The sexy side profile picture of the performer shows her posing in front of a white backdrop as she covers her breasts with her right arm and crouches down while gently holding her legs with her left arm.

Aguilera wore nothing but stiletto high heels, a black undergarment, and a matching beret on top of her hair that was styled in large curls. She captioned the post, “Birthday Suit #44.”
The sexy look resembles Aguilera’s style in the 2010 musical Burlesque. In it, she plays an aspiring singer named Ali, who moves to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams and begins working at a burlesque lounge run by Tess (Cher).
Sexuality is nothing that the musician — who is the co-founder and chief brand advisor for sexual wellness brand Playground — has ever strayed away from.
“This has been a very comfortable and natural space for me to enter because [sexuality] has been such a big part of my life, my world, my music,” Aguilera told ADWEEK in February.
“I’ve experienced firsthand the double standards [put on women]; and I’ve been shamed for being open, for expressing myself sexually and trying to own my body, and for trying to empower other women,” she continued. “People are afraid of that.”
The mom of two told PEOPLE last month she hopes to instill in her son Max, 16, and daughter Summer, 10, the same ability to be comfortable in their own skin.

“Defining beauty for me is about feeling comfortable in your own skin, and that’s a message I always try to encourage my kids to instill in themselves,” she told PEOPLE in November.
