Adding to the nostalgia, Chris and Minnie recently recreated one of the film’s most iconic images during an appearance on The View, delighting fans with a modern-day version of the famous riverbank pose.

The recreation mirrors the original Circle of Friends poster, which shows the pair crouched opposite each other by a stream, capturing the intimacy and emotional connection that defined the film.

For those who loved Maeve Binchy, Circle of Friends remains one of the most cherished adaptations of her work. Released in 1995, the film was directed by Pat O’Connor and set in 1950s Ireland.

It follows Benny Hogan, played by Minnie, a big-hearted young woman from the fictional town of Knockglen who heads to university in Dublin, navigating friendship, romance and heartbreak along the way.
