Chilling ransom note sets out 5 p.m. deadline in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance

Chilling details regarding the ransom note authorities are investigating in Savannah Guthrie’s mom Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance has been disclosed.

Heith Janke, FBI Phoenix’s special agent, shared the note set a 5 p.m. deadline on Thursday during a press conference.

“And if a transfer wasn’t made, the second demand was for next Monday,” he said. “I’m not going to go beyond that.”

Janke emphasized that he wasn’t “going to go into specifics.”

However, the officer noted the ransom note they are investigating mentioned “an Apple Watch,” while a second note talked about a “flood light.”

“It’s very important we keep this investigation moving forward.”
