Jaclyn Smith has proven that timeless beauty never fades, appearing radiant and effortlessly elegant in a new Instagram post celebrating a major milestone for Charlie’s Angels.
The actress, who famously played Kelly Garrett in the hit 1970s series, looked incredible as she posed alongside actor Patrick Foley, her glowing complexion and signature voluminous hair drawing immediate praise from fans.
The photo was shared to mark 50 years since the pilot episode of Charlie’s Angels first aired, a moment that still holds deep significance for fans around the world.
Alongside the image, Patrick wrote: “Today is the 50th anniversary of the pilot of my all time favorite show Charlie’s Angels. How lucky am I. I get to share the evening with my favorite angel Kelly Garrett.”
The heartfelt caption perfectly captured the nostalgia surrounding the iconic show, which first premiered in 1976 and quickly became a global phenomenon.
In the photo, Jaclyn exudes relaxed glamour in a pink striped co-ord set with delicate floral detailing, paired with espadrille-style shoes. Her softly styled hair and natural makeup enhanced her youthful glow, while her poised stance reflected the same confidence that made her a household name.
Standing arm-in-arm with Patrick, she looked both warm and approachable, yet undeniably star-like.
Unsurprisingly, fans were quick to comment on Jaclyn’s appearance, with many noting how little she seems to have changed over the decades.
Others shared their love for Charlie’s Angels, reminiscing about the show’s impact and the enduring appeal of Jaclyn’s character.
Charlie’s Angels, which also starred Farrah Fawcett and Kate Jackson, followed a trio of female private investigators solving crimes while redefining the portrayal of women on television.
Jaclyn remains the only original Angel to appear in all five seasons, cementing her place as a cornerstone of the show’s success.
She remains close to her former Angels co-stars Cheryl Ladd and Kate Jackson, and shared with Page Six that she looks back on her time with them fondly.
“The heartbeat of that show was the girls. The first three, we all got along, we were all friends,” she said. “Farrah and I had a similar background coming from Texas, and Kate was the leader. She had already done a series. She was the boss at that point, and we didn’t know what we would find at the other end.”
Farrah tragically passed away in 2009 after a lengthy battle with cancer, and Jaclyn still supports the Farrah Fawcett Foundation, which helps to fund HPV-related cancer research and assist patients with the financial strain of treatment.
“I think about my career, but it always comes back to Charlie’s Angels,” Jaclyn continued. “The chemistry and three women being the lead, and it was easy, it was not to be overanalyzed. I think what made it interesting was we were all so totally different in demeanor and looks, so there was someone for everyone.”
