Chappell Roan Has NSFW Wardrobe Malfunction During Paris Fashion Week: See the Shocking Photo!

Chappell Roan’s glamorous Paris Fashion Week tour came with a major wardrobe malfunction.

The singer, 27, shared a recap of her experience attending runway shows for Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen on Saturday, March 8. While she looked picture-perfect at the events themselves, Roan revealed that a mishap occurred behind the scenes.

In one slide of the Instagram carousel, the Grammy winner is seen in the red leather ensemble she wore to Ludovic de Saint Sernin with the back of the gown split in two, revealing her backside in sheer black thong underwear.

Despite the wardrobe issue, Roan shared in her caption that her time at Paris Fashion Week was “a dream come true.”

Ice Spice, who has also been in Paris for Fashion Week events, wrote on Instagram that one of her skintight dresses, ripped up the back as well. She commisserated with her fellow musician on Instagram, writing, “mine ripped in the same spot.”

On Sunday, March 9, Roan stepped out for the Valentino runway show wearing a strapless gown featuring a voluminous sheer skirt with floral details.

“What an honor to wear @maisonvalentino couture I’m obsessed with the show, the collection, everything @alessandro_michele,” the “Piny Pony Club” singer shared in an Instagram post. “I feel like such a lucky girl ♡‧₊˚ eeee it’s so amazing thank you for having me Paris !!!! À bientôt ¨̮”

The star also added a detail about her dramatic makeup look, saying, “(It doesn’t show up as well in the pics but I have powder pink foundation on🌸).”

She concluded the caption with: “Ps especially thank you to my team who worked so hard on this trip from all my looks to all logistics. I have the best girls in the world.”

Roan made her Paris Fashion Week debut on Thursday, March 6, for the Rabanne fall 2025 runway show. The singer stepped out in a slightly different take on her signature over-the-top look, wearing a metallic Rabanne dress with an open back. She also wore sparkling drop earrings to match and sported a dark auburn hair color, a departure from her usual bright red.

In a video shared to Vogue‘s Instagram, Roan excitedly shared, “I’m at my first fashion show, Rabanne. And I’m wearing Rabanne. So pretty.”

She added, “I don’t really look like me right now, but it’s kind of awesome. I’m so excited!”
