Casandra “Cassie” Ventura’s longtime friend and songwriter Tiffany Red claimed she witnessed the “explosive” side of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
While appearing on ABC’s “Secret Life of Diddy — A Special Edition of 20/20” Wednesday, the Grammy-winning lyricist recalled a night in 2015 when she allegedly heard the Bad Boy Records founder scold his then-girlfriend over the phone.
“I remember her being like, ‘You wanna see something crazy?’ And I was like, ‘What?’ And she answered the phone,” Red, 37, said.
“As soon as he answered — ‘Bitch, where the f–k are you?’ He was so upset that she was out. I remember him screaming and saying, ‘Is someone in the car with you? I know someone is in the car with you,’” she claimed.
Red, who has also written songs for Jennifer Hudson, Zendaya and Tamar Braxton, said that was when she first noticed something was “wrong” in the now-exes’s relationship.
That same year, the songwriter allegedly saw Combs, now 54, scream at the “Me & U” singer, now 38, at her 29th birthday party.
“I walk out the room, and right behind the door, there’s his security around him. They have her in the corner, and he’s in her face, and he’s cussing her out,” she claimed.
“He was really mad. He was really close to her face, and she just had her head down. When I was standing over to the side, she just was kind of looking up at me.”
Red shared that she believed “everybody” around Combs “was afraid of him.”
When asked why she called the “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper “explosive,” the writer noted how powerful the hip-hop mogul was at that time.
“What you gonna do? He’s got the keys to the cities. He’s friends with the politicians. He’s friends with this person,” she said.
“Who’s gonna challenge that? And when? And be believed? Yeah, right.”
Page Six has reached out to Combs’ rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Ventura filed a bombshell lawsuit against her ex of 10 years in November 2023, accusing him of rape and physical abuse, which he denied.
Just one day later, the “Long Way 2 Go” singer and Combs settled the suit.
Then, in May, CNN obtained shocking 2016 hotel surveillance video of the dad of seven attacking Ventura as she tried to escape in an elevator.
Combs subsequently released an apology video on Instagram, saying his behavior was “inexcusable” and that he had “sought out professional help, started going to therapy and rehab.”
Since Ventura’s lawsuit, the “Act Bad” rapper’s legal issues have mounted.
He has been accused of several crimes, including sex trafficking, rape and sexual assault, in numerous pending lawsuits. He has denied all claims against him.
Combs was arrested in New York City on Sept. 16 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The Revolt co-founder pleaded not guilty to the charges and is awaiting trial at an infamous Brooklyn, NY, detention center.
