Carrie Johnson is known for her sleek, honey blonde locks, but did you see her epic curly hair transformation?
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the mother-of-four couldnāt help but show off her transformed lengths, which are naturally impressively sleek, in their new mermaid-wave style.
āBeen seeing Merwave on my Instagram for a long time, which claims to bring out your natural wave if you think you have naturally wavy hair. So finally bought itā¦ā Carrie penned before unveiling her new locks.
āWell, it certainly works,ā the former media rep wrote, sharing a close-up look of her beach-ready waves.Ā
Easter transformation
The photograph was taken inside the walls of Carrieās grade II-listed home, Brightwell Manor, which she shares with her former Prime Minister husband, Boris Johnson and their four young children, Wilfred, Romy, Frank and Ā Poppy, which has been transformed for Easter.Ā
Carrie revealed the festive details of her Easter table in the Johnson family dining room. The mother-of-four opted for a series of adorable stuff bunny rabbits positioned between colourful painted eggs and vibrant navy blue candles, all atop a red and blue floral tablecloth.Ā
As for place settings, each of Carrieās bright green dining chairs has a lettuce-leaf plate stacked on top of colourful napkins.Ā
On the small screen
The update came just after it was announced that Carrie is set to be portrayed in ITVās upcoming true crime drama Believe Me.
The four-parter charts the real-life story of John Worboys, a taxi-cab driver who was convicted for multiple crimes, including sexual assault and drugging with intent against 12 women between 2006 and 2008.Ā
Carrie, who became one of Johnās targets when she was 19 years old and later launched a judicial review into the caseās handling, is portrayed by Miriam Peche.
Discussing the new show, Carrie said: āI hope Believe Me serves as a wake-up call to the police, the CPS and the parole board. Far too often, women and girls are failed by the very institutions meant to protect them.Ā
āThe treatment of the victims in this case was truly shameful. Reform matters but what we urgently need above all is a profound shift in culture.
āIt takes enormous courage for women to come forward. They must know that when they do, they will be treated seriously and with respect, and that every effort will be made to ensure justice is done.ā
