Candace Cameron Bure revealed that thinking about God watching her have sex makes her uncomfortable.
The âFull Houseâ alum, 49, shared the surprising tidbit while discussing purity with âBachelorâ alum Madi Prewett.
âSee, I still a little but get a visual of, like, God watching me having sex weirds me out, OK?â she said with a laugh on the March 3 episode of her eponymous podcast.
Candace, whoâs been married to her husband, Valeri Bure, since 1996 and shares three children with him, noted that how she grew up has to do with it.
âIt totally just depends on your upbringing and what your past experiences have been or the things that you were taught as a kid, all of those,â she said. âAgain, Iâm almost 50 and some of those adolescent thoughts never quite leave your mind or those high school teenage thoughts never quite leave your mind.â
âIâm giggling at it now because I, whatever, donât want to think about God watching me have sex,â she continued. âBut Iâm very comfortable in that sense.â
âI have three kids that are in their 20s. So, Iâve done a lot of parenting and had a lot of conversations in this area over the years,â she explained.
Candace said she doesnât shy away from the topic of sex with her children â Natasha, 27, Lev, 25, and Maksim, 24,Â
The actress, who is vocal about her faith as a Christian, had Prewett â whoâs also vocal about her faith â on her podcast back in January. During the episode, Candace got candid about having âreally low lowsâ in her marriage to Valeri ahead of their 30th wedding anniversary.
âI know that during some of those low times â I wouldnât even say itâs low âyouâre just kind of, like, sitting in the shallow of the valley,â she shared.
âWhere youâre like, âThis isnât the best, but thatâs just life. Weâll just kind of go through it.ââ
â[There have been] lots of highs and thereâs been some really low lows,â she acknowledged.
Back in November 2025, she also reflected on experiencing marriage struggles.
âThere were times of deep brokenness that I felt,â she told Us Weekly, noting, however, that she and Valeri were able to build themselves âback up.â
âBut God is in the restoration business ⊠[God] loves to restore and make all things new, and he certainly has,â she said.
