Cameron Diaz and Keanu Reeves looked ageless in the new trailer for their upcoming Apple TV film, Outcome, in which the pair play best friends.
Keanu, 61, appeared far younger than his 61 years in his portrayal of A-list actor Reef Hawk, with his neat, cropped haircut and styled beard.
Meanwhile, Cameron, 53, was glowing as she acted opposite Keanu in the role of Kyle, his character’s lifelong best friend. She looked stunning with her long blonde hair worn down in loose waves and a calm expression on her face.
Outcome is set to drop on April 11 and is co-written, directed and produced by Hollywood actor Jonah Hill. The star explained that the film is “a metaphor for what we all go through living on social media. Social media has made us obsessed [with] what people we don’t know think of us, instead of caring about what the people who know us best think of us.”
The film’s official synopsis reads: “Reef Hawk, Hollywood’s poster child since age six, is not okay. When he learns about an extortion plot tied to a mysterious video, Reef preemptively sets out on a redemption tour to make amends, confront his demons, and avoid getting canceled.”
Cameron spoke to Extra about the importance of the film’s message and the nature of celebrity. “It’s an interesting commentary about celebrity and how it functions in our society and what’s expected,” she explained.
“It’s a feeling that everyone is reaching for and they don’t really know what it is, and it’s a value in our society that I think we should all sort of take a look at because it might not be the best thing for our health.”

She added that the opportunity to join the cast had been a no-brainer for her. “Making movies is a privilege and getting to do it at this level with actors on this level and Jonah as a writer and director, you know, I don’t take that lightly, and so anytime that I get to work with people who I admire so much, that’s a win for me,” she told the outlet.
Outcome marks a 30-year reunion for Cameron and Keanu, who first crossed paths while starring in the 1996 rom-com Feeling Minnesota. The flick follows a newly released ex-convict, played by Keanu, who falls for his brother’s wife, portrayed by Cameron.
“That was my third film,” the mother of two explained to Entertainment Tonight. “You forgot about that, right? You don’t remember that, right? You blocked it out of your memory?” she added while addressing Keanu.
“It was my third film. I was so green! It was terrible…We’ve known each other over the years, so like to be able to come back to doing a movie together, it’s just like for me, I was very excited.”
Cameron took a lengthy hiatus from Hollywood for 10 years and instead focused on her growing family with her husband, Benji Madden. The A-lister returned to the screen in 2025 with Back in Action, and will star in the upcoming films Shrek 5, Bad Day, Reenactement and The Sham.
