Burger King Has Free Purple Whoppers During the Full Moon in Honor of The Addams Family Menu

Burger King is going full force on spooky season.

On Oct. 17, fans can snag a free Wednesday’s Whopper off the new Addams Family menu to celebrate the full moon on Thursday. The deal is a buy-one-get-one free offer available to Royal Perks members.

The colorful Whopper is made with purple potato baked into the bun. The Whopper patty is topped Swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, and onions. Black sesame seeds on the bun finish off the festive look.

Plus there’s Addams Family meal deals for a full month. From Oct. 10 through Nov. 10, Royal Perks members are eligible for a different offer each day of the week. (Prices might vary by location.)

On Mondays, customers can snag a $5 Wednesday’s Whopper and on Tuesdays, they can get a Creepy and Kooky Meal, which includes a Wednesday’s Whopper Sandwich, a Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake and a small Thing’s onion rings for $12.

On Wednesdays, Burger King will offer the $10 Macabre Meal, which consists of a Wednesday’s Whopper Sandwich, a small soft drink, one small fries and a four-piece Gomez’s Churro Fries.

Thursdays at BK are a Gomez’s Mysterious Meal celebration. The actually not-so-secretive offering features one Whopper Jr., a small Thing’s Rings, a four-piece Gomez’s Churro Fries and a small soft drink for $7.

To kick off the weekend, Friday’s offering is double the week’s meals. The $22 Thing’s Bizarre Bundle for Two includes two Wednesday’s Whopper Sandwiches, two small Thing’s Rings and two Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shakes.

Saturdays bring the $25 All Together Family Feast. Perfect for a larger group of people, the meal deal includes two Wednesday Whopper Sandwiches, two Original Chicken Sandwiches, two small Thing’s Rings and two eight-piece Gomez’s Churro Fries.

Rounding out the list on Sundays are free Wednesday’s Whopper Sandwiches with the purchase of a $20 Burger King delivery or pickup order. 

The fast food chain introduced the movie-themed menu on Oct. 10. They also launched a limited-edition line of King Jr. Meal toys based on The Addams Family characters.
