Brittany Cartwright finally weighs in on Jax Taylor’s publicist romance with scathing takedown

Brittany Cartwright said she hopes that her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, and her former publicist Lori Krebs are “absolutely miserable” in their new relationship.

“I never wish bad for anybody, but they have to be absolutely miserable,” Cartwright told People in a scathing sit-down shared Tuesday. “And I hope they are.”

Cartwright continued, “I feel like I was taken advantage of by those two individuals and it is sick.”

Later on in the video, she labeled Taylor as a narcissist who “doesn’t have feelings” and claimed that he “straight up told” an unnamed person that he had slept with Krebs.

“I’ve never seen a snake like this before in my entire life,” the “Vanderpump Rules” alum said, seemingly referring to the LoriK PR founder.

“I’ve never seen another publicist want to be the center of attention like she did.” 

Her savage takedown comes weeks after Taylor was seen cozying up to Krebs in steamy vacation photos.

In the pictures obtained by TMZ, the two were seen holding each other intimately as they swam in the pool at a resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

They also appeared deep in conversation as a shirtless Taylor embraced Krebs by wrapping his arms around her.

Krebs, notably, served as the publicist for the former couple for over a decade and acted as a trusted professional and friend.

However, TMZ reported that Cartwright fired Krebs after the shocking pictures surfaced.

A source exclusively told Page Six that Cartwright learned about the pictures shortly before they were published and she feels “betrayed” by Krebs more so than Taylor because she “doesn’t expect much from him at this point.”

“When the Jax-Lori rumors first started swirling two years ago, Brittany chose to believe Lori that nothing was going on,” our source told us, referring to romance rumors between Taylor and Krebs in February 2024 — which were publicly shut down by both him and Cartwright at the time.

Our source insisted Krebs “has always inserted herself into moments that should be about her clients” but that she has now “crossed a line she cannot come back from.”

“There is no way [Cartwright] will continue working with her at this point.”

Days later, Cartwright, 37, cryptically broke her silence on the surprising pairing on an episode of her “When Reality Hits” podcast.

“All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth — the truth — on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready,” the “Valley” star said.

“As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son.”

Last week, Taylor confirmed he is “taken,” though he did not name his new romantic partner.

Cartwright announced her separation from Taylor, 47, in February 2024, several months before filing for divorce from him that August. The exes settled custody of their 5-year-old son, Cruz, back in March.
