Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia claimed her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan went berserk when she sang a song by another country music superstar, Morgan Wallen, in his home.
“One morning I, like, woke up — or I was, like, scrolling TikTok — and ‘Last night we let the liquor talk’ was stuck in my head,” the Barstool Sports personality recalled in Thursday’s episode of her “BFFs” podcast, quoting the opening lyric to Wallen’s 2023 hit single “Last Night.”
“I walk up the stairs in the New York apartment, and I’m singing — like, I’m about to make breakfast or something — ‘Last night we let the liquor talk.’ He freaked the f–k out. Like, freaked the f–k out. He could not believe [it],” she added.
LaPaglia claimed the “Something in the Orange” crooner furiously said to her, “You’re singing another man’s song under my roof, in this house that I own.”
The incident caused the couple to be in a fight for “a week,” according to the podcaster.
LaPaglia also said she was “not really allowed to listen to Noah Kahan” while dating Bryan, who allegedly thought she liked the “Stick Season” singer “too much.”
Bryan’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The internet sensation shared the story while detailing the “I Remember Everything” crooner’s alleged emotional abuse in the bombshell hour-and-a-half episode of “BFFs,” which has amassed more than 1 million views on YouTube in only 12 hours.
“I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him,” she told her co-hosts, Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.
LaPaglia, 25, also sensationally claimed Bryan, 28, offered her $12 million to sign a nondisclosure agreement that would have barred her from talking about their relationship, but she turned it down.
“I did not accept any money. I will not accept any money. I think it’s beneath me. I think that it’s f–ked up,” she said on the show.
Page Six exclusively reported on Oct. 22 that Bryan and LaPaglia had split after one year of dating, with a source telling us their “relationship was always rocky.”
The Grammy winner subsequently acknowledged on Instagram that he was “not perfect and never will be,” while the influencer told her followers that she felt “blindsided” by her ex.
