New details have been shared about the circumstances surrounding Kim Sae-ronâs death.
One day after the Bloodhounds actress was found dead in her home in Seoul at age 24, Yonhap News Agency, citing South Korean police, reported Feb. 17 she had died by suicide.
âWe believe she made an extreme choice,â police told reporters, according to the outlet, âand plan to handle it as a suicide.â
The Netflix star was found Feb. 16 at around 5 p.m. local time by a friend who had plans to meet her. âWe have not found any signs of foul play as of yet,â a police official said at the time, âbut we are investigating the circumstances of the death.â
Kim began acting when she was just 8 years old, starring in the movie A Brand New Life. She went on to nab roles in The Man From Nowhere, A Girl at My Door and The Villagers. Her last onscreen credit is Bloodhounds, a South Korean series which dropped on Netflix in 2023.
