Blake Lively Shows Off Hilarious “Mom Hack” During Family Outing in Texas

Blake Lively proves resilience is always in the bag.

The actress shared a “mom hack” she used to help one of her and husband Ryan Reynolds‘ four children while on a family trip to the natural Barton Springs Pool in Austin, Texas.

In a photo posted March 11, Lively is seen standing outside what appears to be the Zilker Park Trailhead restrooms wearing paper shopping bags on her feet.

“Your kid forgets their shoes, but you have yours on,” she captioned her Instagram post. “So naturally, you [give] them yours. Then you mom hack… Paper bags [check], no shoes [check], no problem [check].”

Lively—who shares daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, and son Olin, 2, with Reynolds—traveled to Austin to promote her latest film Another Simple Favor at the SXSW festival. She joined costars such as Anna Kendrick and director Paul Feig at the sequel’s red carpet premiere March 7, and has shared several photos from the event and her trip to the city on Instagram in recent days.
