Lisa still has one regret about meeting Justin Bieber for the first time.
In an interview with The Guardian on Sunday, March 23, The White Lotus star, 27, revealed what happened when she met the “One Time” hitmaker, 31, years before.
Lisa opened up about how Bieber’s 2010 hit featuring Ludacris, “Baby,” is the one song she knows all the lyrics to.
“I think everyone was a Bieber fan when they were young,” she told the publication. “I met him a few years ago, but just for a quick hi.”
However, Lisa didn’t say everything she wanted to at the time.
“I didn’t tell him how much I loved him because I’m too shy,” the BLACKPINK rapper and dancer recalled.
Elsewhere in the interview, Lisa revealed her favorite song to play at a party is by Rihanna.
“‘Work’ by Rihanna lifts everyone’s feelings up,” she said, adding that she had actually met the “Umbrella” artist, 37, before: “I did tell her how much I love her.”
Earlier this month, Lisa made history as the first K-pop artist to perform at the 2025 Oscars.
She took the stage with Doja Cat and RAYE to perform a medley of songs from the James Bondfranchise, where Margaret Qualley, clad in a red dress, twirled with a series of tuxedo-clad dancers.
Lisa sang a rendition of the Paul McCartney and Wings song “Live and Let Die,” while Doja, 29, took on a cover of “Diamonds Are Forever” (originally performed by Shirley Bassey) and Raye, 27, performed “Skyfall” by Adele.
On Feb. 28, the “Rockstar” artist released her first solo album, Alter Ego.
The LP features collaborations with Doja, RAYE, Rosalía, Tyla and Megan Thee Stallion.

In a November 2024 cover story for Billboard, Lisa spoke about the vast influences on her album.
“Everything’s there,” she told the publication. “I think they’re going to be shocked at how capable I am [at] doing so many things.”
Lisa is set to make her Coachella debut as a solo performer before heading out on a summer tour with her BLACKPINK members Jisoo, ROSÉ and Jennie.
