Bishop Briggs is in her self promotion era, so naturally, she is repping her new album, Tell My Therapist I’m Fine, with her tote bag.
“[My bag] is from my new merch [line], and I’m trying my best in this new era to be my own biggest fan,” Briggs, 32, who released the album on October 18, told Us Weekly exclusively as part of her What’s in My Bag? feature. “It’s a whole experience. Part of it is wearing your own merch all the time even when no one wants you to.”
She went on to break down the design of the tote: “This is a little mattress store for my song ‘Mona Lisa on a Mattress,’ and I love it,” Briggs told Us. “I have my name here just in case I forget who I am.”
All jokes aside, the singer is serious about her favorite products — including the lip oil even her 2-year-old son is obsessed with.
“I don’t know what they put in this product,” she said of her Dior Lip Glow Oil. “I don’t know why it smells so good. I don’t know why it’s so hydrating. But boy, oh boy, do I use way too much! And I’ve actually got my baby into this lip oil. Hashtag don’t recommend at all.”
She continued: “It brings me and the baby so much joy. We put it on, he calls it ‘Lip.’ And he looks great in this shade of pink.”

Postcard from a Friend
I have this little postcard from a friend of mine named Lena. And it was on this trip that she wrote me a message, and she spilled a lot of crazy secrets in this message — she didn’t at all. She just wrote something nice. But it brought me a lot of joy, so I will keep it in my bag forever until it gets crumpled.
Advanced Healing Bandages
I wear all sorts of shoes, specifically boots. And we are currently in New York, and so there’s a lot of walking and running around, which I’m so grateful for, but my feet hate me. I always stumble into the local pharmacy at some point on these trips and I get these little bandages. They have saved me.
Canon PowerShot G7 X Camera
These vlogging cameras used to be so big back in the day, and I definitely jumped on the trend then, but apparently they’re back. So I’ve been taking a lot of photos and I’ve actually been preferring this to my film camera because I can see what the photo looks like.
Warby Parker Glasses
My glasses are from Warby Parker. I do wear contacts. If you’re wondering, “Where’s the case?” I couldn’t tell you that. I’m gonna be honest. You could pay me a million dollars to tell you where the case is, and I wouldn’t be able to tell you for a second. It could be in a kitchen. It could be on the side of the road, but I think they’re kind of cute.
No one really sees these except my baby and husband and I guess the entirety of all of you. So this is my alter ego you’re now seeing, and I feel really exposed.
Travel Size TheraBreath Oral Rinse
I found this mouthwash in travel size, which made me very excited. I love little cute small things when it comes to items, not in other ways. And this is just the best mouthwash in the world and they don’t sponsor me. It’s called TheraBreath. They don’t sponsor me. I am asking them to after this video. But specifically the really small one, which I found today.
Colorful Journal
I am someone that is normally wearing all black. I’m trying to change that. I’m trying to evolve and bring color into my life. As you can see, I’m wearing a bit of green today. I saw this and I thought, ‘OK, this is very cute.’ This is the type of energy I want to bring into a journal.
I normally have, like, a devastating owl on the front cover, or it’s very dark and you go into a different land and you’re concerned for my mental health. So with this, I thought this could disguise every dark thought in here as a lovely, wondrous thought. And it reminds me of Willy Wonka and mushrooms.
‘Madly Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman’
This is the book I have been reading. It’s called Madly Deeply by Alan Rickman. It’s really incredible in the spirit of speaking about journals. Basically, they transcribed all of his journals. And it has been such a good read and has really inspired me to continue journaling.
Alan Rickman is someone that I find really inspiring as a creative and as a human. Rest in peace.
iPhone
We have my telephone. This has so much on it. I was saying earlier today that if anyone looked at my texts, I would feel nothing. I would be like, absolutely, go for it. If you open my notes app, I would have to cause physical harm to you. The notes app in here is way too revealing.
Custom Hair Clip Made From Hair
It’s a hair clip, but it’s made out of hair. This was really something that inspired all of the creative for this new chapter. There’s this incredible designer named Sofia who creates these custom hair pieces. And this really became the focus for my album Tell My Therapist I’m Fine. And it’s a little heart.
Whose hair is it? I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s real hair or not, but I ask that to myself every time. I should really just ask Sofia, but she’s busy and I can’t blow up her phone again.
Pilot G2 07 Pen
The happiest you’ll ever see me is in a stationary shop. I can’t have a conversation if I’m in a stationary show because I’m looking at all the pens, I’m trying all the pens. I’m in my happy place. This is the Pilot G2 07. You can get it anywhere. I feel like it is one of the best pens and writing brings me so much joy, and this gives me the ability to do so.
Grace & Stella Eye Mask: Everything Is Better in Pink
These are beautiful eye masks. I’m a mom and with that, there isn’t a lot of time for sleep. So I really appreciate getting a little support from these eye masks to add a little bit of moisture underneath my eyes and help me get ready for the day.
