Billy Ray Cyrus isn’t letting family drama affect his work.

The country star revealed Friday that he’s working on a new album produced by son Braison Cyrus — despite his family expressing worry over his well-being after his disastrous performance at President Trump’s post-inauguration Liberty Ball.

“I’m so proud to lean into the music [with Braison]. This is art imitating life, imitating art. It starts and ends with art,” the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, 63, said in a press release obtained by Page Six.

“Braison is very talented and ’25 is his year. I’m glad to be a part of it. This record is gonna be special. I’m gearing up for what will be the journey of a lifetime.”

Braison, 30, echoed Billy Ray’s sentiments, saying that he’s “spent this past year getting to know” his father better.

“I’ve heard stories, jokes and songs that I don’t think anyone else has,” Braison said in a statement. “It’s an opportunity to tell my dad’s story through music and I’m fortunate to be able to take it. Music, stories and family are the most important things to my dad so to bring the two together is a full circle endeavor.”

The father-son duo did not share any details about what the album will be titled. However, the two confirmed that it will be released in summer 2025, and it will include songs that are co-written by the dynamic duo.

Earlier this month, Billy Ray also announced that he would be releasing an album titled “GONE” in May 2025 to “coincide with the anniversary” of his 1992 hit “Some Gave All.”

“This album is a reflection of my journey, and I can’t wait to share it with y’all,” he shared on social media on Jan. 6, teasing the yet-to-be released project.

The “Old Town Road” singer has not released an album since 2019’s “The SnakeDoctor Circus.”

Billy Ray and Braison shared the news just a few days after Billy Ray’s eldest son, Trace Cyrus, shared an emotional Instagram post begging him to seek help.

“Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now,” he wrote in part Wednesday. “It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you.”

Trace, 35, pointed out that he “could care less” if his dad gets “upset” with him over the public post.

“Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away,” he shared, referring to sisters Brandi, 37, Miley, 32, and Noah Cyrus, 25.

Trace claimed that his dad is “not healthy” and “everyone is noticing it.”

“As I write this with tears in my eyes I hope you realize this message only comes from a place of love and also fear that the world may lose you far too soon,” he continued. “I love you Dad.”

Trace admitted that he does “not know” exactly what Billy Ray is “struggling with,” but he has a “pretty good idea.”

“I’d love to help you if you would open up and receive the help. You know how to reach me,” the Metro Station singer concluded the post. “Till that day comes I will continue to pray for you.”

Billy Ray has not directly addressed his son’s public cry for help.

However, Billy Ray has still been active on social media and defending himself after people questioned his well-being when he awkwardly sang two songs at President Donald Trump’s post-inauguration Liberty Ball in Washington, DC, Monday night.

Fans posted videos of Billy Ray walking across the stage while singing “Old Town Road” and “Achy Breaky Heart” without any music or his band. Later taking to Instagram, the musician claimed the performance suffered from faulty equipment.

“I wouldn’t have missed the honor of playing this event whether my microphone, guitar and monitors worked or not. I was there because President Donald J. Trump invited me,” he wrote in part.

“I had a ball at the Liberty Ball last night and I’ve learned through all these years when the producer says ‘you’re on,’ you go entertain the folks even if the equipment goes to hell. I was there for the people and we had a blast. That’s called rock n roll!!!”
