Billy Joel took a nasty fall during his concert at Mohegan Sun in Montville, Connecticut, on Feb. 22.
While performing his 1980 single âItâs Still Rock and Roll to Me,â the music legend twirled his microphone and lost his balance after throwing it toward the crowd, as seen in a video shared by a concert-goer on TikTok.
The âPiano Manâ singer then fell and landed on his side before rolling onto his back.
After getting back up, Joel finished the song and played one more track for the crowd.
While the 75-year-old rocker appeared okay after falling, the tumble sparked some concern online.
âOh my gosh he looks like he was hurt,â one person wrote in the comments section of the video.
âThat fall at the end had me worried. I saw him a couple years ago and heâs still got it.. sounds great and heâs having a great timeâŠmaybe just stay on your two feet, Billy,â another said.
âDangerous fall being 75,â a third netizen commented.
Joelâs fall comes after he canceled a Florida concert in January due to a mystery âmedical procedure.â
While the singer hasnât publicly addressed his fall, Joel doesnât appear ready to slow down. In fact, his current tour schedule has him performing through November 2025.
He even announced more tour dates after his fall, including stops at Yankee Stadium, MetLife Stadium and Citi Field this summer.
âIâm looking forward to playing these iconic stadiums this summer â each holds personal significance to me,â Joel told Billboard in a story published Monday.
Heâll be joined by Rod Stewart at Yankee Stadium, Stevie Nicks at MetLife Stadium and Sting at Citi Field.
âThereâs nothing like the energy of the crowds in New York, and sharing a stage with my friends, Rod Stewart, Sting and Stevie Nicks, whose music always inspires me, is extremely rewarding.â
Before his current tour, Joel completed a residence at Madison Square Garden, where he performed one show a month for an entire decade.
