David Geffen is being accused of hiding his finances to avoid paying his estranged husband, David Armstrong, big bucks in their divorce.
According to court documents filed Wednesday and obtained by Page Six, the former go-go dancer, also known as Donovan Michaels, claimed his ex, who is âone of the worldâs richest, most powerful, and influential men,â has ârepeatedly yet falsely attempted to portray himself as an aging âretiree.ââ
However, Armstrong, 32, claimed in the docs that Geffen, 82, remains an âenormously important power playerâ in wealthy circles. He also claimed the film producer is one of the highest income earners on earth due to his âmyriad of capitalist ventures.â
Armstrong claimed in the court docs that Geffen and his attorneys are âattempting to concealâ multiple streams of cash flow.
According to an amended income and expense declaration obtained by Page Six, Geffen, who is worth $9.1 billion, wrote âN/Aâ for all of his monthly income and investment income.
Additionally, Geffen also listed âN/Aâ for his assets.
Page Six has reached out to Geffenâs lawyer for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Armstrongâs claims came a day after news surfaced that he had withdrawn his explosive lawsuit against Geffen.
In the suit, the model claimed the Asylum Records co-founder used âseductionâ and âcontrolâ to âentrapâ him in âa cycle of dependency, submission and humiliation.â
The lawsuit was requested to be dismissed without prejudice, meaning that Armstrong can re-file the suit in the future.
Armstrongâs famed lawyer, Bryan Freedman, told TMZ that his clientâs additional âfinancial conflictsâ would be privately resolved in mediation.
Geffen claimed he paid his ex $200,000 since they split in February, and covers Armstrongâs $15,000 monthly rent.
The record exec also claimed Armstrong is in possession of $5 million in jewelry, art and watches that Geffen purchased.
Armstrong and Geffen secretly tied the knot in a private ceremony in Beverly Hills, Calif., in March 2023.
In May, Geffen filed for divorce from Armstrong after two years of marriage â with no prenuptial agreement in place.
The following month, Armstrong claimed in a bombshell lawsuit that his estranged husband allegedly paid him thousands for sex and groomed him.
âIt was a sick game. Michaels became a prop in Geffenâs theater of virtue, paraded around as evidence of Geffenâs supposed altruism, while privately used as a sexual commodity,â the lawsuit claimed.
Armstrong also claimed Geffen would often hire sex workers, both men and women, throughout their âsexually-open marital lifestyle,â and âpliedâ him with drugs â including cocaine, molly, and cannabis.
Geffenâs attorney denied Armstrongâs allegations, saying they would be âvigorously and righteously defending against this false, pathetic lawsuit.â
