Billie Eilish had plenty of reasons to be festive this holiday season.
The “Birds of a Feather” singer turned 23 on Dec. 18, just days before Christmas, and compiled her week’s best moments into an Instagram carousel post of photos.
Eilish posted her photo dump, which she captioned “Christmas,” on Friday, Dec. 27, offering fans a peek into how she spent her holiday season.
The star kicked things off with a photo of herself that featured a large dog on her lap, and continued with various holiday decorations, including a well-decorated Christmas tree and a larger, lit-up tree outside.
She posted a photo with Charli xcx from Dec. 17, when Eilish brought out the British pop star as a surprise guest at her show in Los Angeles. Together, they performed their “Guess” remix for the first time.
Elsewhere in her post, Eilish shared a photo of what appeared to be a candy cane-inspired birthday cake with 23 candles on top, plus a possible tease of a new fragrance.
The Grammy winner also shared photos featuring her friends, including her keyboard player Abe Nouri, as well as a sweet throwback to her childhood, in which she posted with her family’s late dog Pepper.
Pepper died in July 2023 at age 15, and Eilish paid tribute to the pup on Instagram at the time, calling Pepper her “life long best friend.”
In celebration of her birthday, Eilish’s mom Maggie Baird shared a sweet tribute on Instagram, posting various throwback shots of the pop star. In one photo, a 7-year-old Eilish smiles happily in front of a birthday cake designed to look like a vanity.
“Happy birthday to my darling beloved Billie! Being your mom has been an extraordinary journey,” Baird wrote. “You are a dear and precious human and I have treasured these crazy week before Christmas birthdays now for so many years. You brought us so much joy in so many laughs. You are complicated and unique. I [am] honored to be your mom.”
Eilish’s brother and collaborator Finneas also gave her a birthday shoutout, writing, “Happy 23rd Birthday to my sister billie- being your brother has been the joy and honor of my life. Love you so much.”
In return, Eilish commented, “ugh god i love you so much.”
Eilish released her third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, in May. She’s nominated seven times at the 2025 Grammy Awards, with nods including album of the year, record of the year and song of the year.
