Billie Eilish is working to make a difference.

On Thursday, Oct. 24, the “What Was I Made For” singer, 22, announced her upcoming U.S. OVERHEATED conference with Support + Feed, her mom Maggie Baird’s nonprofit.

The event is set to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on Nov. 3, and it will be livestreamed on Eilish’s YouTube channel for fans who can’t attend in person.

“I am thrilled that we can bring this unique event to Billie‘s US fans. And to people from all over who can watch the livestream,” Baird said in a press release. “At this time, more than ever, we need everyone to be a climate activist.”

According to the press release, the event will feature “climate conversations, delicious plant-based food, community building and more.”

The gathering will discuss “accessible actions for audience members to take in making a positive impact on their communities and the planet,” the release said. This year, the event will also highlight the importance of political action.

Eilish is set to make an appearance at the event, as is her mom.

In addition to Eilish and Baird, special guests including Saad Amer, Corinea Austin, Xiye Bastida, Daniel Blackman, Brea Baker, Abre’ Conner, Quintin Crumpler, Jasmine Crowe-Houston, Helena Gualinga, Wawa Gatheru, Isaias Hernandez, Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, Jamila Norman, Samata Pattinson, Maya Penn and Angela Watts are expected.

Panels will include “Fashion Your Future,” “The Stories We Tell,” “What We Eat Matters,” “Climate Optimism” and “Your Vote, Your Power.”

Eilish has long been a champion of climate activism.

For her ongoing Hit Me Hard and Soft tour, Eilish partnered with the nonprofit REVERB to make her concerts more sustainable by having all venues feature plant-based food options, having concessions reduce single-use plastics and making merch out of recycled materials.

She has also worked with her mother on Support + Feed since its inception in 2020.

According to its website, the nonprofit works to mitigate climate change and promote food security by supporting and providing plant-based food. The organization has reached 41 cities across the world and has delivered more than 600,000 plant-based meals and pantry items while providing educational resources on plant-based meals and the climate crisis.

In October 2023, Eilish praised her mother’s work at Support + Feed’s first annual fundraiser.

“I’ve been looking at my mom and I’m like, ‘Damn, she did that! And you guys supported that!” she said. “I’m so in awe of my mother and I every day aspire to be more like you. This is such an incredible thing that you have done
 I’m so impressed by you.”

Eilish held an ‘OVERHEATED’ climate action conference during her Happier Than Ever U.K. tour stops in 2022. The six-day climate conference, launched with Support + Feed and REVERB, brought together musicians, climate activists and designers to discuss the climate crisis.

Tickets for the 2024 OVERHEATED conference are available at Ticketmaster and Support + Feed’s websites now.
