Bianca Lawson, 47, looks decades younger as she steps out in NYC

Actress Bianca Lawson looked better than ever as she stepped out on Wednesday for the A Sense of Home New York City Gala.

The 47-year-old’s youthful visage was on full display in a tailored, earth-toned suit with relaxed, wide-leg trousers and a white silk shirt underneath.

She paired the look with caramel pointed-toe heels, a statement ring and a woven clutch, and wore her brunette tresses slicked back into a tight bun. Bianca kept her makeup minimal with a pink lip and nude eyeshadow.

Inside Bianca’s longevity in Hollywood

The star is a Hollywood staple thanks to her roles in Pretty Little Liars, Queen Sugar, Goode Behavior, Rogue, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, Sister, Sister, Save the Last Dance and Saved by the Bell: The New Class.

She famously played teenage roles well into adulthood, having been 33 years old when she wrapped on Pretty Little Liars as Maya St. Germain.

Bianca revealed that one of the major reasons for her youthful, wrinkle-free skin was the fact that she stuck to the same skincare products and never tried the newest trends.

“I don’t really have a routine or regimen, and I think that’ s the secret – the simpler, the better,” she told Vibe. “I’ve been using the same products since high school. I feel like the more you leave yourself alone, the better.”

“When people are constantly changing products and doing what the ‘new’ thing is – it drives your skin, hair and body crazy. Stick with what’s working and listen to your body,” she added. Bianca also drinks plenty of water to keep her skin hydrated.

Ageless beauty

The brunette beauty told FabFitFun that she preferred not to spend too much money on her skincare products. “I absolutely do not think expensive equals better. Usually, it’s actually the opposite. I honestly have better results with the less expensive stuff – the simpler the better.”

Bianca added that her makeup routine had significantly changed as she entered adulthood. “Interestingly, makeup artists used to put way more makeup on me when I was younger,” she explained. “Now I actually wear far less makeup, which I prefer. I hate having tons of makeup on, and I pretty much never wear makeup in my day-to-day life.”

While looking ageless in Hollywood can equal career longevity, for Bianca, it also meant that she wasn’t offered the “meatier”, more adult roles that she wanted.

“It was frustrating because there would be parts that I really wanted and they would say, ‘Oh, Bianca looks too young.’ I’m like, ‘Right, but I really am this age,'” she told Complex.

“It was a weird thing because people wanted to cast me for certain things all the time, and I was like, but I want to keep progressing. I want things to be meatier and challenging. I think this is kind of boring, you know?”
