Beyoncé’s haircare line, Cécred, is doing big things.
The singer took to Cécred’s Instagram page on Saturday, April 5, for a video that revealed her signature honey blonde had been swapped to a bouncy, icy blonde with a subtle root shadow.
In the video, the 43-year-old is seen wearing a cleavage-baring, plunging black dress with beaded embroidery. She takes a few drops of Cécred’s Nourishing Hair Oil and runs it though her locks, giving it over to her mother Tina Knowles — who passed the oil onto other members of the Cécred team — with the magic of a spliced video.
“Operation get @cecred at @ultabeauty is officially COMPLETE, with the help of the big boss and founder, @beyonce! Available NOW at your local Ulta Beauty store and ultabeauty.com,” the video caption read.
The icy blonde shade first made an appearance at the 2023 Los Angeles premiere of her Renaissance World Tour Concert film. The shade has also appeared on the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer at the 2024 and 2025 Grammy Awards, while a warmer, even bouncier version of the shade was the star of her 2024 Super Bowl look.

“It was a natural next step to just go for it and bring her to the lightest she’s ever been,” the stylist continued. “[This shade] works for her skin tone and has a good balance of warmth and depth. It’s also a big departure from what she’s done before. However, I do have some fun ideas for the future.”
In the time since, the near-platinum blonde shade has become synonymous with Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter era.
