Beverley Mitchell is celebrating a very important friend.
The actress, 44, shared a sweet birthday tribute for her 7th Heaven costar Jessica Biel as she turned 43 on Monday, March 3. In a lengthy message on Instagram, Mitchell praised Biel for their special bond.
“My dearest @jessicabiel I don’t know where to begin!” she wrote. “I thank God everyday for giving me the sister I never knew I needed! You make me laugh, you give me space to be me, you accept me broken, and you love me always! You are my biggest supporter and will do anything to be there for me! I love you so much and will be forever grateful for you!”
“You are a magical unicorn and all who are lucky enough to be loved by you are better for it,” she continued. “Thank you for making me a better person by being in my life! Love you beyond!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ happiest of happy birthdays to you! Wishing you pure magic and love! 💕 #happybirthday #love #sisters #family #7thheaven.”
Alongside the heartwarming caption, Mitchell posted a montage of photos from over the years, including several throwback pics and snaps of Biel with Mitchell’s kids.
Biel and Mitchell starred as sisters Mary and Lucy Camden in 7th Heaven, which ran from 1996 until 2007. While Biel transitioned off the show as a series regular during season 5, she and Mitchell remained close.
They recently spent time together at the Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show in November, posing with their arms around each other on the carpet. In 2023, Mitchell showed up at the premiere of Cruel Summer season 2 to support Biel, who executive produced the show, and later at Monster Jam that same year.
Then in March, Biel virtually reunited with Mitchell and other former 7th Heaven costars — Catherine Hicks, David Gallagher, Barry Watson and Mackenzie Rosman — as they were at 90s Con.
“Beyond grateful for these crazy humans that I call family!” Mitchell wrote about the reunion on social media at the time. “To say that this was needed was an understatement, my heart is full and I have been so blessed to love and laugh with them.”

Biel’s husband, singer Justin Timberlake, also celebrated her big day on Monday with a candid video of them hugging and kissing with his song “Mirrors” playing in the background.
“Happy Birthday to my rock. My best friend. My favorite. My GOAT,” the Instagram caption read. “To the one that believes in me when I don’t believe in myself… The one that makes me laugh like nobody else can. To the one that showed me a real love. ❤️”
