Betty Crocker has something to curb Bridgerton fans’ appetite as they wait for season 4.
Three new baking mixes are available now and each is inspired by the characters and scenes from the romantic Netflix series set in the 1800s. The hit regency drama-themed Créme Puff Kit, Petite Sponge Cake Kit and Petite Strawberry Scone Kit are available now at Walmart for $7.
The former makes the classic puffed pastry filled with rosy pink-tinted whipped cream that matches the flower gardens featured on the series’ English estates.
The second baking mix takes inspiration from the classic British sweet: Victoria Sponge cake. The buttery cakes are meant to be served sliced in half and filled with strawberry jam and whipped cream.
The latter offering is fit for a tea party. Each scone is full of strawberry bits and filled with a layer of strawberry jam.
Each of the baking mixes is adorned with floral designs and a glitzy Bridgerton logo. The back of the boxes include the baking instructions that read “Dearest Baker, first procure these necessary items” and the familiar cameo that adorns the mysterious Lady Whistledown’s scandal sheet. Plus, each box comes with a baking tip from “Lady Crocker.”
Whether you make the boxed mixtures or opt for a homemade watch party treat, dearest gentle readers have some time to fill before the newest Bridgerton season drops but fans have some season 4 updates to keep them going.
On Christmas Day, Netflix shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram of the cast at a table read for the next installment.
The carousel of images featured season 4 leads Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton) and Yerin Ha (Sophie Baek) grinning from ear to ear as they posed for a picture. Cast members Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Ruth Gemmell (Violet Bridgerton), Martins Imhangbe (Will Mondrich) and Victor Alli (John Stirling) were photographed smiling and laughing at the table read.
Bridgerton‘s fourth season will center around the family’s second eldest brother, Benedict, and his love story with a maid named Sophie. The series’ release date is not clear yet but it will likely be in 2026, per Business Insider.
