The year 2025 was clearly the year of Bachelor Nation baby girls, as evidenced by three stars from Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor.
Higgins, who led 2016’s season 20, became a dad in February when wife Jessica Clarke Higgins gave birth to daughter Winona “Winnie” Elane after a scary delivery.
“Her blood pressure and so we lost her heartbeat for, like, 10 minutes,” Clarke Higgins said on her husband’s “Almost Famous” podcast that month. “They flipped me on all fours, so I’m on all fours in my hospital gown and like ten doctors come rushing in. It turns out this is, like, very common and not, like, as big of an emergency as we thought it was. But, it was scary.”
Higgins, who wanted to steadfastly support Clarke Higgins, started to worry after Winnie’s heart rate kept dropping.
“I look up and all of a sudden, like there’s 10 doctors in the room. I remember just looking around like, ‘I don’t understand what’s happening.’ And a nurse comes over and sits by me and she’s like, ‘This is very normal, but like you should prepare to get rolled back into like the OR,’” Higgins recalled. “I’m like, ‘What do you mean this is normal and we’re going to the OR?’ By the time it happened and it was done, I was just kind of not processing it.”
Nearly a year after Winnie’s arrival Higgins’ former Bachelor contestants Lauren Bushnell Lane and JoJo Fletcher welcomed their own baby girls.

Ben Higgins and Jessica Clarke Higgins
Higgins published an expanded version of his Alone in Plain Sight memoir in October, detailing his early experience as a parent.
“I understand how my days of changing diapers will quickly move into Winnie going off to school and making friends and going to sleepovers and learning to drive and being asked out on her first day,” he wrote. “Someday, she’ll probably watch season 20 of The Bachelor. I hope that if she ever watches it, she’ll say, ‘Dad, you were so cool when you were young’ other than, ‘Oh my gosh, Dad. This is cringe!’ (I know, a man can dream).”
Lauren Bushnell Lane and Chris Lane
Higgins proposed to Lauren Bushnell Lane during his season of The Bachelor, only to split several months later. Afterward, she moved on with country singer Chris Lane.
Lauren and Chris welcomed their third baby, daughter Logan, in November.
“We love you sweet little girl,” the proud mom, who also shares sons Dutton and Baker with her husband, gushed via Instagram.
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers
Before Higgins proposed to Lauren, he proclaimed that he was also in love with JoJo Fletcher. After confessing his feelings, Higgins blindsided Fletcher when he sent her home at the final rose ceremony.
Fletcher led the next season of The Bachelorette, where she met now-husband Jordan Rodgers. They welcomed their rainbow baby, daughter Romy Blair, just in time for Christmas.
“What a whirlwind these last couple of days have been but in the most magical way,” Fletcher wrote via Instagram. “[We] went in for our weekly sonogram this past Tuesday and found out we needed to deliver via emergency c-section that day. At 5:37pm on December 23, we met our girl.”
