Ben Affleck is “happier than he’s been in years” after settling his divorce from Jennifer Lopez two months ago, a source exclusively tells Page Six.

We’re told the Oscar winner is “in a much better mood lately” and is “excited” about this next chapter.

“Ben hasn’t been in regular contact with Jennifer since their divorce unless it revolves around their kids’ school functions,” the insider says.

Affleck, 52, “has no hard feelings for Jennifer but he would rather keep things at a distance.”

According to the source, the “Gone Girl” star “doesn’t really see a point in remaining close friends” with the “Let’s Get Loud” singer, 55.

Affleck and Lopez first began dating in 2002 after working together on the set of “Gigli.” They got engaged for the first time in November of that year but called it quits in January 2004. The two rekindled their romance — and got engaged for a second time — years later in 2021.

Back in August, on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding ceremony (which they held after eloping in Las Vegas on July 17, 2022), Lopez filed for divorce from the “Batman” star.

The Oscar winner was previously married to Jennifer Garner, 52, from 2005 until 2015. They co-parent their three children together: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.

Reps for Affleck and Lopez did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Over the weekend, the “Daredevil” co-stars were spotted giggling as they celebrated Samuel’s birthday.

Affleck was seen affectionately grabbing the actress around the waist as she focused her paintball gun on a target at the Combat Paintball Park in Castaic, Calif.

The “Good Will Hunting” actor pulled the “13 Going on 30” actress in toward him, and she appeared to welcome the embrace.

The exes looked cozy as they laughed and closely chatted while participating in the festivities.
